Babycakes Ham and Cheese Puffs

I experimented with the Babycakes Cake Pop maker trying to cook my Ham and Cheese Puffs in the cooker.  They turned out crispier than cooked in the oven.  For all of the steps on how the make these, just click on the Ham and Cheese Puffs link above.

Preparation is the same as the oven version.

Press lightly into the cooker and cook for about 3 to 3 1/2 minutes.

This is how they looked at 3 1/2 minutes.  The one in the middle was thicker and almost formed a full ball, but it was also the hardest to remove from the cooker.  I used cooking spray on the first batch and this was the second batch.  All the rest of the puffs came out fairly easy.  I would suggest that between batches, taking a paper towel and wiping the wells out and spray lightly with cooking spray.  These were the only things I have cooked where there has been some sticking and that could be due to the ham or cream cheese.  After all, they are slices and the filling is exposed to the cooker.  When I cook them in the oven, they also stick somewhat to the cookie sheet.  So, all in all, I really liked this crispier version of the Ham and Cheese Puff.
